  1. 1. Search

    Call POST /api/search for current company snapshots when you need a backfill or research pass.

  2. 2. Watch

    Register once with a match on state and/or city. Diff pushes INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE to your webhook.

  3. 3. Qualify

    INSERT means a new company was added — full after payload. Persist entity_id for companies you keep.

  4. 4. Act

    Run outreach or underwriting in your stack. Diff is the legal-entity signal, not a contact directory.

  5. 5. Stay current

    Include UPDATE and DELETE in actions when you also want standing changes and removals.
